Biography of Cheryl H. Lewis
Cheryl H. Lewis was employed with Florence-Darlington Technical College for the last 13 years, 1993 – 2007, in various positions, ranging from Employment Specialist for Human Resources to Part-time Mathematics Instructor. For the last 11 years she has worked with the TRiO Upward Bound Program as a counselor for five year, and most recently, as the Upward Bound Director (2001–2007). As the Upward Bound Director, she has work extensively with local high school administrators, parents, students and with various community agencies in providing career development and academic advising. She completed her National Career Development Facilitators certification in April 2006. Other degrees include a B.S. in Economics from Francis Marion University and a M.A. in Human Resources Development from Webster University. Local memberships and affiliations include Girl Scouts of the Pee Dee Leader and membership in the McLeod Health Alliance on Health Education Consortium’s Pee Dee Regional Coalition, which promotes diversity in healthcare.
Cheryl’s motto continues to be “Don’t Quit”.
